Gem of Lichfield. Worth even a quick visit but one can stay longer and be amazed with architecture and history of this place

If you've never been here I can thoroughly recommend it! Free entry. Car Parking all day for £6.00. Acres and acres to walk around and see the many memorials. Dogs admitted. Good Cafe/Restaurant. Such an interesting place you could revisit time and again.

A very serene place of reflection. Maintained to the highest standard.
Land train well worth doing. Covers a huge amount of the gardens with a very informative audio guide which plays throughout the trip.

Restrooms: Immaculate.
Even had port -a -loo's within the grounds.

Picnic area: Lots of open green space & benches throughout the gardens

Fantastic place to visit. Came specifically to attend for VJ day ceremony in remembrance of my Pop. We spent a good while in the FEPOW museum yesterday. There are so many stories, very sad to read about what all our grandfather's endured during their time as Far East Prisoners of War, but still fascinating at the same time. There are so many memorials that we spent yesterday and today here, and we still missed out on quite a number of them. We did get as far as seeing the Christmas Truce yesterday. And today we managed up to the Armed Forces memorial then as far round as 'Shot at Dawn'. Today's VJ Day ceremony was very poignant and brought me to tears.
However, this has been a fascinating place to come and visit, a place to remember so many who had suffered. Definitely will be making another trip to visit here, in hopefully the near future, to see the memorials we have missed out on. The NA is free to visit and relies on donations and purchases of guide books to continue to allow us to visit for free, so please make this place a 'must-go-to' for when you're visiting or holidaying in Staffordshire, it is well worth it and more. The volunteers here do a fantastic job, every one of them we spoke to were so nice and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for your time and patience. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
