Having known Neil for more than 10 years, I haven't had recourse to need his services; that is until now.
As a result of some interior work. My carpet protector had deposited its adhesive leaving an unsightly mess.
Neil came round to check the job, offered me a good quote. And last Friday he successfully removed the sticky substance leaving my carpets like new.
He was most professional right from the start leaving me confident of a top class job.
Well done; great work

We went to see the tiger who came to tea here and it was brilliant. The show was great. As was the theatre. All the staff were really helpful when buying snacks, directing us to our seat etc. we had such a warm welcome. The seats weee really comfy and the view of the stage was great! This will not be our last visit! Can’t wait to come back to see something else soon!

Well worth your support and visit.

Remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can have the freedom we have today.

We will remember them 🇬🇧

Wanted to visit for some time. Stopped off on our way past & got lucky.

The Arboretum recommends advanced booking to ensure parking & avoid disappointment. Judging by how quickly the car park filled, we got lucky.

What a beautifully poignant place! Even in the cold end of winter we couldn't fail to be impressed: pretty, well laid out and so poignant.

Whether you come to remember, to look at the trees, or to look at the art - there's something for you.

Also a cracking cuppa and decent scran.

We'll be back.

We took our granddaughter to watch The Tiger Who Came to Tea on Saturday, it was an excellent show! The actors were amazing, a really good set and a giant friendly Tiger! Our granddaughter really enjoyed it.

Walking into Samuel Johnson’s home, all I knew about him was that he wrote the first most comprehensive dictionary. Thanks to Leila, the guide welcoming us at the door, I learned so much about him that I might just be in competition with Leila on who is his biggest fangirl!

Leila’s knowledge, sheer enthusiasm and utter patience with all my questions was my entryway to learning about this phenomenal man. We could do with more men (and women!) like him today.

Leila wasn’t the only knowledgeable one about him, upstairs on the first floor awaiting us was Lizzie. Equally conversant on Samuel Johnson and his era. The two make for quite the most welcoming and enlightening duo.

It’s a beautifully preserved house, which thanks to this team but also those whose love for Samuel Johnson even earlier, ensured that it wasn’t destroyed by fire in WWII - there’s romance embedded in these walls.

I left his home, wanting to know more about him and the people he supported.

If you love words / history (and / or Susie Dent!), this is a hidden gem of a place to visit. Be warned though, if you didn’t already, you will come to adore Samuel Johnson (maybe become an even a bigger fangirl than me!) by the time you leave!
