This us a lovely cathedral, so much to see. They have some brilliant events on. Their light shows are brilliant especially the Christmas ones. I recently saw the brilliant Lesley Smith here. Incredible as you walk around the exterior, the sculptures of the saints are multiple and incredibly impressive. Walking the vista is breathtaking. The carvings, the whole of the interior is such an awe inspiring dedication to their God. There are multiple chapels, and the access allowed is incredible as many places of worship significantly restrict the areas you can enjoy, Not here! Whilst we were there a choir was rehearsing and the acoustics were breathtaking. A must visit for anyone of any faith, or none, to truly enjoy an incredible historic and architectural achievement that we can all enjoy. I hope you are lucky enough to hear a choir even close to the harmonic beauty of the one we enjoyed (by chance). I am truly glad that we "dropped by when we were in the area".
