Visited this weekend with my husband, 2 year old and 5 month old in the pushchair. We pre-booked the parking before attending which was advised on the website and went up to the reception on our arrival to enquire about the stick man trail, before we'd even had to ask the staff were giving us our map and pencil for the trail and directed us where to go. Outside a different staff member came over and talked to my son and made him laugh and directed us to the trail again. The trail is very lovely and you end up at a small play area for the children, it was both bitter sweet to read all the memorials by the trees of peoples loved ones as we were able to watch our son play and be thankful. The whole place is just so well thought out and quite simply stunning. Every staff member we came across from the car parking attendant to the cleaner were just wonderful. The food in the cafe was fairly priced and really lovely. My only advise and it is small would be to add another baby changing table in one of the toilets if possible, there where four stinky babies queuing for nappy changes whilst I was there with only one changing room available. Can't wait to come again thankyou

Visited on Monday 25th October 2021 pre-booked parking as suggested on the website. I must admit I misunderstood the basis of the site as it is way more a site for memorials than it is an arboretum. It's still fairly new as a site for what trees have been planted to mature but in general, if you're going to visit then do so on the basis of touring the memorials. These are quite eclectic and it's not 100% clear on what basis a memorial would be entitled to be set up here as there was a section with memorials to individual death of children and others covering military campaigns/regiments etc. Either way these memorials are very impressive and thought provocting. Unless you have a general interest or have a particular memorial that resonates with you I wouldn't suggest visiting, especially if you had a focus on the arboretum aspect. The cafe and shop were excellent and the volunteers great. Get hold of a map of the site if you can or do as we did and take a photo of the site map at the entrance.

I used Tatlow Carpets 5 years ago to lay quickstep laminate flooring in the lounge and was very impressed with the advice and overall levels of service. Because of the great experience previously, I've just used them again to lay a tricky striped carpet, on the landing and stairs. Absolutely blown away by the detail that the fitter went to, to ensure continuity of the stripes, in doorways and down the stairs. Brilliant job, well done guys and I will happily use again 👏👏

We always enjoy our walks around the Arboretum both myself and my good lady served so as special meaning. This visit we especially wanted to show our respect to the Police so we headed straight to the new memorial dedicated to those fallen officers whilst on duty.

A very interesting place which is well worth a visit. We spent about 3 hours here in the very well keep grounds but it could easily have been longer. The memorials are all excellent and there a lot of them. The restaurant is also vert good.
