A very impressive building, packed with artefacts and always looking for innovative ways to increase appeal. The stone work is sublime and the location commands the skyline from every direction. A draw for artists over the century's and tourists alike

Beautiful Cathedral with a fascinating history. The staff were extremely helpful and showed us around. We enjoyed the Turner exhibition and the Angel Hunt. Well worth a visit.

We have been with this practice for around 5 years and to be honest I cannot fault them. I've had a few emergency call outs, they have been quick and very compassionate in some stressful situations.

We have had my old TB go through quite a lot and had the wonderful Regina come to his aid, she has been brilliant at talking me through the situation guilding me with my homework in supporting her treatment. I don't feel that asking any questions no matter how ridiculous or obvious is wasting her time as she gives me honest information and makes me feel that my questions are valid.

I have had some of the other vets who have also been very good and when my TB had to go in for treatment all the staff at the hospital were great, very friendly and helpful.

It's always a pleasure to call up and speak to reception, friendly, professional and helpful most importantly fun. Not normally something that you expect from a reception team but refreshing.

Worth a visit if you've never been before. Got a lovely welcome from the very friendly volunteer as we entered. Loved all the really old rooms! I'm not really ''into'' History but it was a nice little tour all the same. Free entry.

Myself and my partner came here during our lunch breaks and were not disappointed the man behind the counter was very knowledgeable and welcoming. There are a number of floors with various themes and of course a giant dictionary.

We looked up “Things to do in Lichfield” and this popped up. The building is in the centre of the town and the curators have done a really good job to keep it as close to the original. Each of the five floors is themed by period and we learnt a lot about the life of Samuel Johnson from the room he was born in, through to his childhood, his hunger for reading and writing and his eventual rise to fame with his famous dictionary of which there is a copy in the museum. Allow a couple of hours to take it all in. There is no admission charge - payment is by donation. Highly recommended.
