Internally, this Cathedral is impressive and oozes earthy history. But take some time to look around at the exterior, it has some incredible carvings.

this is a truly beautiful cathedral and we were lucky enough to hear the choir practicing as we walked around. It is quite breathtaking inside although we didn't have enough time to take everything in. well worth a visit.

Visited the Cathedral on 27.8.16 and it was well worth the 90 minute journey from North Notts. We had a guided tour of the highlights by Anne a lovely and very knowledgeable guide.
