We only had a short time to drop in here on our way elsewhere but we will be back.
The exterior is beautiful with some amazing carvings along with the three spires and the interior has some lovely memorials and stained glass.

If you are in Lichfield, a visit to the cathedral is a must. The inside is beautiful, the outside quite amazing with all the carvings. The staff are very helpful, happy to share their knowledge of this magnificent building.

A wonderful Cathedral to spend time in and enjoy it's architecture and stained glass windows. They currently have an art installation of thousands of white paper doves cut out by local school children and hung above the central aisle. The main part of the cathedral is accessible to those in wheelchairs. The cathedral is free to enter , you will find donation boxes placed around the cathedral for donations which are appreciated because the day to day running costs are astronomical.
