Recommended for a family visit - the memorials provide a dignified focal point for remembrance of lives lost. Beautiful trees and lots of benches to take a rest. At the moment there are various activities for children - table tennis, volleyball, basketball net and archery.<br>Fantastic facilities including a cafe and shop. No charge for entry other than the carpark.

After a very welcoming greeting at the entrance the birthplace collection starts with an excellent short video about the life and work of Samuel Johnson. There are some useful boards explaining the part of 18C Johnson lived in and the exhibition continues over three floors . Free entry

Dont stop! Thst was the concensus of the crowd at the end of the Fleetwood Mac legacy concert. A first class group of professional musicians brought the sound of FMac to life.

The staff at the Garrick are so friendly too It always adds to the experience of live performance if the team are making your night out special

Tip; parking free in Lichfield after 6.30pm!
