Easy to book online (and totally understand the requirement to at the moment!), clear 1-way system in place in the visitor centre before accessing the outdoor area and being able to wonder freely. Great day spent looking at some of the many memorials. All of the volunteers we spoke to very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable.

This is a beautiful space to contemplate life, that so many gave thiers so we are free to live our lives. We visited on a very hot day, it looked busy, but once you are out into the park, it's quiet and laid out so well with all the memorials at intervals, but the centre piece stood out with the sun hitting the point of the high tower with it's gold tip. We had travelled quite a way to visit, but having prebooked and all you pay for is the parking, it was so easy and straight forward. Staff all very friendly, everywhere clean and tidy, mind Prince Charles was visiting 3 days later for VJ day celebrations. Give yourself plenty of time to walk around, my favourite was the paratroopers memorial x
Thank you RBL a fine place to remember of lost for our country xx

A very humbling experience we had today, lost for words on how beautiful the grounds are and beautiful memorials, great staff who have tremendous pride in helping visitors. This was our first visit and will be returning annually, also I’d like to add that there’s lots to keep children happy and entertained. (Please leave donations as museums and memorials need every penny they can get) Wonderful place, words cannot describe!

Although we’ve been before it seemed fitting to go today on 11 /11 as we had the opportunity. With Covid we had to pre book but it was well organised and no queuing or overcrowding. We had no idea there was a Royal visit planned today for the memorial service.
The whole place is thoughtfully planned out and extremely moving.
There are acres to walk around with lots of memorials to visit to commemorate so many fallen hero’s and those who served in the distant past and more present day. A very humbling place and one to be enjoyed by young and old.
Facilities are good and inexpensive, the restaurant was closed due to the current lockdown but there’s an outside coffee shop for drinks and snacks.
The path ways are good and suitable for wheelchair access but Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on the grass to be able to read some of the plaques and to walk down “The Beat” which is a wide aisle of trees commemorating police officers who have been killed in the line of duty.
Lest we forget!

My son really wanted to visit the NMA for his birthday and after going online realised you had to book due to Covid 19. Unfortunately there were no slots available for the weekend as it was only a few days before. I contacted theArboretum to see if we could possible attend and then emailed back saying we could under the circumstances and we had a very happy birthday boy! We visited on the Saturday and was welcomed warmly, did all the Covid secure check in and was shown around the map and help to plan our day. We started off at the coffee shop with a hot chocolate and started to explore. The volunteers were really helpful and knowledgeable and the kids enjoyed learning the secret whispering of the national memorial. We had a lovely day reflecting and looking at the monuments and learning a lot more about our military history. We spend 3 hours there but could have spent longer and will definitely be returning.

What a glorious place to remember all those lost to us and acknowledge how they served their country. It is beautifully laid out, with an air of serenity that shows respect and admiration for all those who have served. It was a grey day, and despite Covid restrictions which were well organised the day was well worth it.

This is a place for contemplation, as you walkaround or travel on the electric train, you can understand what these people did and are still doing for us, so we can live our lives as we wish.
It was Fantastic.
