My family and I visited the National Memorial Arboretum the other weekend and really enjoyed our visit. It is absolutely huge so you could definitely go for a whole day out. We didn't get to see all of it in an afternoon so will definitely return. It was really beautiful and peaceful, really recommend.

A lovely place to visit with very friendly staff. £3 for the car park + whatever you feel like donating. Cafe on main centre and train/electric buggy rides for the less mobile. The stone memorial in the centre is a fitting tribute to the armed services that have fallen in battle over the years. Very peaceful (except for the day I visited when a RAF Tornado did a very, very low fly past)

A wonderful day out, a great place to pay respects to all our fallen service men and women. Very peaceful despite the large number of people visiting.

This is a beautiful memorial which everyone should visit. It is very thought provoking and makes you realise how many lives were lost to protect our freedom.

Moving experience. Good guides( people) and booklets. Mini train with commentary available for those who do not want to walk too far. Beautiful setting which can only improve as the trees grow. The only church built during the year 2000 is here and well worth seeing. The only drawback is no public transport as far as I know. Very good cafe.

Easy to book online (and totally understand the requirement to at the moment!), clear 1-way system in place in the visitor centre before accessing the outdoor area and being able to wonder freely. Great day spent looking at some of the many memorials. All of the volunteers we spoke to very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable.

This is a beautiful space to contemplate life, that so many gave thiers so we are free to live our lives. We visited on a very hot day, it looked busy, but once you are out into the park, it's quiet and laid out so well with all the memorials at intervals, but the centre piece stood out with the sun hitting the point of the high tower with it's gold tip. We had travelled quite a way to visit, but having prebooked and all you pay for is the parking, it was so easy and straight forward. Staff all very friendly, everywhere clean and tidy, mind Prince Charles was visiting 3 days later for VJ day celebrations. Give yourself plenty of time to walk around, my favourite was the paratroopers memorial x
Thank you RBL a fine place to remember of lost for our country xx

A very humbling experience we had today, lost for words on how beautiful the grounds are and beautiful memorials, great staff who have tremendous pride in helping visitors. This was our first visit and will be returning annually, also I’d like to add that there’s lots to keep children happy and entertained. (Please leave donations as museums and memorials need every penny they can get) Wonderful place, words cannot describe!
