Intersesting Cathedral to visit and its free entry (donations requested). Saw some bits and pieces from the Staffordshire Hoard that are on display with a good description of what the pieces are and where to see more of it. Good free guide leaflet provided when you enter that gives a good insight into the history of the place.

Amazing cathedral, my wife and I had a fantastic time looking around, well worth a visit, one of those places that fills you with awe and makes you feel tranquil. The Cathedral’s three spires rise from historic Lichfield's centre and can be seen from miles around. Wonderful experience, fully recommended.

I recently visited Lichfield Cathedral. It has 4 spires and inside was very interesting with beautiful stained glass windows and other interesting features. The guides were very pleasant friendly and helpful. If you are visiting the midlands I would recommend a visit to Lichfield cathedral.

A stunning building, lots of interesting history helpful guides. The beautiful stained glass windows were magnificent. The statue of Charles 1st on the right hand side of the cathedral is awesome. Interestingly the cathedral requested a donation which was what you could afford.Well worth a visit steeped in history!!

Well worth a visit!!
Just having a look at the outside is
Breathtaking...
Inside is very somber and extremely interesting even if you're not from Lichfield.

Though Lichfield is no longer a major city, years ago the Cathedral was a major site, alongside Canterbury and York. The building reflects this, so whether Religion or Architecture is your thing, I am sure you will enjoy your visit, especially as some pieces of the Staffordshire Hoard are on display.

You can tell where the Cathedral is because its spires are always within view!
Although I visited during a practice for a combined schools carol service there still remained a feeling of reverence and holiness.
All points of interest were well detailed and there was space for personal reflection.
An unassuming and yet powerful place, no doubt a shelter for many in their own storm of life!
