Very lovely chancel and shrine to Saint Chad _many beautiful stained glass windows.Stay for a service and see the cathedral in action a really special experience and opportunity to soak in the atmosphere.

I was taken by surprise by Lichfield Cathedral, which I had not heard anything about until we visited and it is beautiful. Well worth a visit.

Stunning building. Definitely worth a visit when in Lichfield. Stained glass is fabulous to see. Choir was practicing when we were there and their voices were beautiful.
