After a day of continuous heavy downpours, the charity’s dedicated fundraisers assembled in Lichfield for the popular annual event, bracing themselves for a thorough soaking.
The Cathedral has been able to remain open for worship, and has played a major part locally in helping with the Covid Vaccination programme - but in line with other “indoor attractions”. However Lichfield Cathedral will be open to the public once again on Monday 17 May following the Prime Minister’s announcement of a further easing of the lockdown rules.
