Christmas 1183, a family are gathering for the festive season, but there's more at stake than just turkey and tinsel. A crown, a princess and the richest province on the continent are all up for grabs. Henry II is getting old. His three sons, his wife, his mistress and his arch enemy are all under the same roof.
Can the old lion outwit them and hang on to his crown, kingdom and beautiful mistress?
This witty, fast-paced drama inspired the film of the same name starring Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn and has become a modern classic.
