Grimlake’s Emporium of Novelties is a forgotton museum where once popular but now corny magic tricks and strange-looking puppets are parked and collect dust.
Albert Grimlake is a man obsessed with ventriloquist dummies. He has crafted each of their faces lovingly and in great detail and they spookily bear an uncanny resemblance to friends and family long gone.
Grimlake needs someone to succeed him and take over his Emporium of Novelties as he is getting old and is running out of time. To find a successor, someone to breathe life into his creations, someone who shares his peculiar passion for puppets…
