Lisburn is steeped in the history of the Irish linen Industry and its museum has captured and preserved that history meticulously.
Hand spinning and hand loom weaving demonstrations ensure that the old craft skills are kept alive. The museum also offers a programme of temporary exhibitions, including art and local history of Lisburn and the Lagan Valley

Cafe Crommelin is inside the Linen Centre and the Museum Shop has a large range of craft and linen goods including Irish damask table linen.
