The main space with its Gothic arches and architectural beauty can accommodate upto 3,000 for standing receptions and 2,000 for a seated concert.
It is also an ideal setting for a gala dinner with space for 1,000 guests.
The UK’s biggest cathedral, and the biggest Anglican cathedral in the world, is a real community hub with events, arts, meetings throughout the year. Visitors can admire the surroundings, visit the tower or just contemplate a magnificent place to worship.
Outside the main space are a number of other facilities. The Sir Giles Gilbert Scott Suite is a very versatile space. Two oak-panelled rooms, each holding up to 120 guests, make the ideal space for a tasteful private supper or anniversary celebration. Complete with w-ifi, natural daylight and fully equipped with AV package the suite is the perfect place for a business breakfast or a full day conference.
In-housecaterers, Couture, can provide home cooked food made to order.
Or for a more intimate occasion, there are the elegant surroundings of the Lady Chapel in Liverpool Cathedral?
The oldest and perhaps most beautiful part of the Cathedral, the Lady Chapel offers its own private entrance as well as some of the most beautiful stained glass in the Cathedral. The Chapel is also ideally suited to smaller choral recitals and lectures, seating up to 200 guests.
Weddings may also be held in the Lady Chapel (only bookable via Dianne Rothwell on 0151 702 7201) but are subject to very strict criteria being met and subject to Archbishop of Canterbury's limitations and conditions.
The Well is another part of the cathedral that is an excellent setting for gala dinners and rfeceptions.
