gocre8 based in the Baltic Centre creative area of Liverpool has plans further growth as business expands.
The company has recently installed new state-of-the-art machines to enhance its printing services for customers.
A hi-tech flat bed printer can reproduce anything that can sit on the printing bed – including wood, glass tiles and metal while the new latex machine features environmentally-friendly water-based ink, particularly suitable for use in schools and hospitals.
Buying the equipment was possible via a matched-funding grant of £50,000 from a regional £1m business booster fund.
Director Darren Kennerley said: “Winning the grant will enable us to build on what we already offer as well creating upto six new jobs. The new machines will allow us to bring work in-house that we previously outsourced. We are keen to experiment ourselves and work with other creative agencies to come up with unique print and design solutions.”
The multidisciplinary graphic communications company provides professional services in design, print, display and new media to companies both locally and nationally. It also offers trade services to agencies, which has seen them handle projects for blue-chip companies such as Carlsberg, Brother, Honda and Henry Lloyd.
Darryn and partner Paul Lin started as graphic designers but decided to take printing in-house to give customers a one-stop-shop. Now they are also used by other trade agencies seeking printing expertise.
Services include business printing, display graphics, exhibition stands, signage, creative artwork, graphic design consultancy, logo design, building wraps, posters, banners, canvas prints, flyers, wallpaper printing and window graphics. In addition they can provide web design, online marketing and web hosting.
