Marine Football Club are Liverpool's Premier Non League Team, who currently play in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League. The Club has good links with the local schools and community and, for the past two seasons, have been voted by the readers of the Non League Newspaper 'Community Club of the Year'.
Brief History….
The Club celebrated its centenary in 1994 having been formed by a group of local businessmen and former college students taking its name from the hotel on the River Mersey sea front at Waterloo, seven miles to the north of Liverpool where the founders met. Marine FC are full members of the Football Association and members of both the Liverpool and Lancashire County Football Associations. They moved to their present ground The Arriva Stadium (formerly known as Rossett Park) in 1903
Youth, Junior & Reserve Team Football…
Marine Football Club has an extensive Youth Academy with teams at most age groups, competing in local and regional league and cup competitions. Three of the senior youth teams compete in the North West Youth Alliance league, alongside other well known North West Clubs. The Club also holds weekly Children's Coaching Session at the ground during the season. Marine
Reserves compete in the highly competitive West Cheshire League Division One, against well established Reserve Teams. The Arriva Stadium is also host to Everton Ladies Football Club who play in the new Super League from March - October.
Corporate Sponsorship & Advertising Opportunities… For business and individuals, Marine Football Club offers a variety of sponsorship and advertising packages including: Matchday Sponsorship, Matchball Sponsorship Ground Advertising, Website Advertising, Programme Advertising, Mascots Conference & Meeting Room Facilities. The ground and clubrooms have recently been used as a TV & Film location by Lime Pictures and Nike and there are opportunities available for further filming.
Clubrooms & Social Club….
Marine Football Club offers a variety of memberships, including Full Membership (which entitles holders free entry to all First Team League games and use of clubrooms) and Social Membership. All members have access to the Clubrooms which are open daily (weekdays from 6pm and all day weekends) and have full use of the bar facilities and snooker room. Regular Fundraising
Quiz Evenings, Bingo Nights, Line Dancing and Free & Easy Nights are hosted throughout the year.
Supporters Association…..
The Marine Supporters Association are an active part of the Club and help to raise important funds both on and off the pitch. The MSA have now been established for over 15 years and have donated in excess of £60,000 to Marine Football Club and local charities. The MSA run a number of successful sponsorship competitions throughout the season and also run the Club Shop on matchdays which is one of the best stocked in the League and North West.
