Big retailers show their commitment to local communities by closing 20 stores per day last year. It is expected that with the collapse of 3 large retailers so far this year, 2013 figures will be higher. Isn't it about time that Small Local Businesses get the recognition they deserve as the life blood of our local High Streets and Communities. Even leaving aside the major collapses, large chains show little commitment to local communities.
