Success - we've found TWO great restaurants and its not just me that thinks that after vetting both.
I think we are sadly lacking in good, innovative restaurants in Crosby and Waterloo and think that the good ones need shouting about.
Fu's Chinese on South Road and Saffron Indian on St Johns Road are both a breath of fresh air having both returned to grass roots and opted to provide authentic cuisine with fresh ingredients and treating customers like customers.
It really isn't just us - we've got several really positive testimonials - from the people who eat there - over the last few days for both restaurants.
Interestingly these two restaurants have both chosen to serve their food in contemporary surroundings making the dining experience comfortable and pleasant and a less like dining in the 70's.
Lets get away from 'manager run' restaurants with impersonal staff and get back to family run restaurants that care about us.
