Everton Striker Yakubu has stated that he sees no future for himself at Goodison Park. The statement was made to make sure that he is able to permanently leave Everton FC this summer. The Nigerian striker has been on loan since the middle of January to Leicester City. Yakubu has enjoyed his time at Leicester City and over 19 appearances he has scored 10 times, impressing Sven-Goran Eriksson in the meantime.
Yakubu is hopeful to stay in the Midlands who is also keen to keep the striker. He told the press that he is looking for somewhere else to go, and that other clubs may be interested he is mainly interested in staying more permanently in Leicester. It is thought that Everton however will not let the player go cheaply. The sale of Yukubu will be used to help Everton secure new transfers in the summer.
