The much loved Beatles Drummer has said that he is already in the process of making a record about Liverpool. After turning down many requests to pen his autobiography he has finally decided to start working on it himself. The offers have always been focused around the time when he was in The Beatles. Ringo says that he would have already had to write three volumes before he even got to that period of his life.
The record will be focusing on Liverpool and his own life. Ringo said that he has decided to make an album rather than sit down and write a whole book. He told Uncut magazine that each of the songs will be like a mini-autobiography. One of the tracks is about the Iron Door which was in Ringo’s opinion a much better club the famous Cavern Club.
There has been no release date given for the new album but Ringo is about to start touring. The All Star Band is playing a 27 date European Tour and will be coming to the UK in June 2011. Keep an eye out for dates in our events.
