Following the First Ministers pledge of £1 million to North Wales following the recent floods there is another £3.2 million to be shared throughout Wales.
The First Minister said..
"The impacts we've seen over the festive period highlight the importance of us continuing to protect communities across the whole of Wales from flooding caused by adverse weather,” said Mr Jones.
“This has been an exceptional period of rainfall and, although we have seen flooding, our river defences have performed well, protecting thousands of homes.
“The additional £2.3m investment I’m announcing today builds on the £1m we made available last week to local authorities for immediate repairs and maintenance to ensure homes and properties remain resilient.”
Recent flooding badly affected our region and here's to a dryer 2016.
