You’d think that an accountants firm would only focus on cash flows and tax issues. Williams Denton Chartered Certified Accountants equally focus on their staff.
Back in 1995 Williams Denton first got involved with the ‘Investors in people’ (IIP) scheme. Fifteen years later they are steadfast in their resolves to keep focussing on it, having been recently re-assessed by the IIP assessors where they passed with flying colours.
They have been assessed four times now and each time have successfully passed. Williams Denton are one of the few accountants in North Wales to have achieved the standard and keep it.
The Directors believe that Investors in People has helped new employees to more quickly integrate into the firm. This has helped them become effective members of the team from an early stage. One trainee said, “We’re asked to work hard, but at the same time we’re looked after and we’re classed as individuals.”
One might think, that’s great for their staff, but how does it benefit the customer? Their happy and well looked after staff work closely with clients and stay with them through the years. Clients don’t get passed around different people. This gives each person the time to build a good relationship with their clients and learn to understand their business.
Hugh Prys Jones, a Director of Williams Denton, said, “I am very pleased that the firm has again achieved this standard which is recognised and approved by the government. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Directors and staff for their hard work in achieving this award.”
So it seems that if you want to work with people who care and are fully knowledgeable in all accounts and tax issues, then Williams Denton are worth a call.
