Heard local MP Andy Reed on PMQs yesterday asking for more government funding for hospices like Rainbows in Loughborough - apparently children's hospices get only 5% of their funds from the public purse, whereas adult hospices get around 30%.
The issue was also picked up by Radio 5 Live this morning so good publicity, but have to say that it was first raised in parliament nearly 9 years ago so it shows the glacial pace of change is still there in politics.
