James of Anderson Reeve co-designed, built and installed our living room furniture/entertainment centre in two stages over the last year. We honestly couldn't have been more impressed, he was a pleasure to work with and we are delighted with our end product. It has taken nearly six months to write this review (sorry James) but at least now we can properly endorse the craftsmanship and quality of materials as we have had no issues at all and the piece still looks as perfect today as it did upon installation. We would wholeheartedly recommend Anderson Reeve to anyone thinking of commissioning any bespoke furniture, you will not be disappointed.

In Spring 2015 we decorated our master bedroom and searched high and low for 2 bedside tables and 2 matching sets of drawers to fit an unusual sized space. After an extensive and fruitless search we realised that having hand-made, bespoke furniture was the only way that we would get exactly what we wanted, so we contacted James Reeves. James came to measure up and talk to us about how he builds each piece for each client. We also decided to investigate have him completely fitting out our home office with bespoke bookcase, cupboards and desk, as our requirements were also very specific for this room. James discussed every little detail, working out all our best options on usage of space, aesthetics and price, and then he quoted for both rooms. At this point he informed us that he was busy for 12 months and that there would be a considerable wait before he was available to manufacture and install our furniture. Not wanting to ‘spoil the ship for a ha’ porth of tar’, we agreed that this was not an issue. We had already decided that we actively wanted James to do the bedroom and office furniture because we had been very impressed with the care and attention we had received from James during our dialogues about the design. From initial consultation to delivery and installation, James demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail exceeding our expectations. He patiently re-drew designs and drawings to address issues as they arouse and worked closely with us every step of the way. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. James is a gifted craftsman and his work is thorough and meticulous. Each room is exactly how we envisaged it and we cannot praise James highly enough for his ability to bring our wishes to such stunningly beautiful (and subsequently much-admired) reality. He was well worth the wait! Thank you, James!

Just had another MOT through M J Fisher. We've been using his services for all our vehicles needs for 3 yrs now and he always goes over and above expectations to ensure our car is safe and back on the road as soon as possible. He is so much cheaper than anyone else I've tried, and none of the usual confusing jargon. 5* highly recommend.

Needed a mobile mechanic to sort my car out and looked on google and m j fisher came up on best of Loughborough and see all the good/ positive reviews so gave him a call he gave me a quote and fixed my car and was £20 cheaper than the quote. Top decent bloke even on first meeting will be using m j fisher again. Thank u for fixing my car.

MJ Fisher came out to service my LandRover at short notice. He fixed the bonnet, which wouldn't catch on one side, quickly and for free, when other garages had told me I would need to take the car to a body shop or buy a new part. Total cost of service and MOT significantly lower than usual garage and I felt the work completed was of a higher standard. Recommend highly; will be using again.

In 2013 we decided to move our hand built european oak kitchen to a new extension and wanted some matching units and an island made to match. From the initial consultation to delivery James demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail and we were thrilled with the final product and how it matched the units we already had. Following that in 2014 we commissioned James to build a set of walnut bathroom cabinets and again we were impressed by his reliability, professionalism and the quality of the final product. In 2015 we commissioned bespoke office furniture made from cherry wood. Once again James exceeded our expectations, patiently redoing drawings and designs and working closely with us at every step of the way. We now have a perfectly fitting very smart home office which is a pleasure to work in!

Excellent service! Honest advice was given about an oil leak on my 2006 ford fiesta. This is something which is important to me as my knowledge of cars is limited. M J Fisher was very happy to talk me through what he could see was wrong with the car. I respect that he told me not to be concerned about the minor leak he found until lots of oil was visible on the ground. I would recommend his service and would definitely use his service in the future.
