Lifesaving charity, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, is calling on the people of Suffolk to cast their vote in a national campaign which could see Lowestoft lifeboat crew receive a £5,000 share of a charity fund.
The organisers of Lowestoft carnival parade, the Friends of Lowestoft Hospital, have reluctantly announced that this year’s procession will not now go ahead due to a lack of entrants.
My Guide is a relatively new scheme which Debbie Playford coordinates in Lowestoft and across Suffolk on behalf of Sensing Change working in partnership with Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
The scheme aims to support people with sight-loss deal with the sense of isolation which all too often prevails.
