Days out in Lowestoft for under a fiver

The school holidays are underway and we have been lucky with the weather.

Here are a few ideas for days out in and around Lowestoft, for under £5 per head.

Lowestoft beach of course is a perfect day out when the weather is glorious, free of charge of course. Just take a picnic and enjoy.
In the vicinity of the beach is another activity roller skating at Rollers on Claremont Pier. Price for two hour skate session with own skates £4.50. A family ticket (one adult three children or two adults plus two children) is £15.
Waterlane Leisure Centre - Swimming on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3.45pm - 5pm is just £1 for children.
Adventure Island Playpark - Enjoy this indoor soft play park on the south side of Lowestoft. Open 7 days a week 10am - 6pm. Prices are Babies under 1 free, Children 1-2 £3.75, Children 2+ £4.75 and Adults 50p.
Richardsons Family Entertainment Centre - Bowling before 6pm will cost £3.50 for adults, £3.00 for children under 16 and disabled. They also have a soft play area which is for children under 137cm and is charged at £2 per hour.
Everitts Park in Oulton Broad is a great place to spend the day out with the family. Take a stroll around the park or play ball games on the grass, let the children play in the childrens park. Also on site is Lowestoft Museum, housing 18th century Lowestoft porcelain, and best of all entry is FREE.
East point family golf garden on Lowestoft seafront is an 18 hole crazy golf course. So if you are enjoying a seaside day out in Lowestoft, why not give it a go. Cost is £3 per person.
Sparrows nest park is a great day out, the children can play on the small play park or play games on the grass. Also in the park is Lowestoft Maritime Museum. An all day ticket allows you to come and go all day and costs £2 for adults, £1 for concessions, 50p for children/students and under 5's are free.
