A good time was had by all at the Ladies Puddings Evening at Café Grand in Lowestoft on Wednesday 18th April. Petit Four Catering Ltd. held the event on behalf of the Kirkley Business Association.
The Diamond Jubilee themed evening was a great success, with the ladies enjoying five delicious homemade desserts including Rhubarb and Ginger Cheesecake, Toffee Apple Crumble and a Mystery Dessert!
A fun addition to the evening was a light hearted trivia quiz, testing the ladies' pudding knowledge.
The businesses of Kirkley kindly donated raffle prizes which helped to raise money for the Kirkley Christmas Light Fund.
Petit Four would love to host many more evenings at Café Grand in the future, suggestions made during the evening by the ladies were for a Pie Night, a Cheese & Wine Evening and a Curry Night.
Kirkley is gearing up for the Diamond Jubilee, the Lowestoft Air Show and the Olympics with patriotic bunting to adorn London Road South and planters filled with wonderful floral displays.
Great efforts are being made by the Kirkley Business Association to make this a summer to remember.
