The Befriending Scheme provides friendship and learning opportunities for adults over 16 from vulnerable groups, including those with mental health needs, older people, and people with learning disabilities.
We combat isolation by helping our members build confidence and skills, and to form meaningful, long term friendships.
The core services of the Befriending Scheme focus on building one to one friendships between vulnerable people and volunteer befrienders and running ‘drop in’ Centres, known as Hubs in six towns in Suffolk.
