About Us

Hinckley and Rugby Building Society is a top 20 Society with over 70,000 savers, assets of nearly £600 million and over 10,000 borrowers and we are proud to offer an extensive range of competitive savings accounts and mortgage schemes to people of the Lutterworth area and beyond. We are equally proud of our extremely high standards in offering warm, helpful and friendly personal service. We do not operate a call centre and endeavour to ensure that every telephone call is answered personally within five rings by a member of staff.

As a mutual building society, instead of making profits for institutional shareholders we are able to turn them into better rates for our investors and borrowers  - our members who are our owners.

Local Community

We’re very proud of our pioneering volunteer scheme 'Community First' which gives our staff up to three days' paid leave each year to get involved in volunteering projects of their choice.

In addition, our staff  throughout the branches and at the Hinckley head office have raised thousands of pounds for various charities.
