I attended 'An Evening with thebestoflutterworth and thebestofrugby'.
The speaker for the evening was Nigel Botterill, who is the founder of 'the bestof”. He gave a very lively, entertaining and inspiring talk.
I helped the Lutterworth branch of the Royal British Legion launch their 2010 Poppy Appeal in the Memorial Gardens, where we launched 70 balloons in memory of the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. A great looking “Poppy Man”, made by Bob Chapman and Dick Stilgoe of the branch, made his debut appearance! (See pic)

· I have an event planned for Thursday 2nd December at the Cricket Club on Coventry Road at 7.30pm. It is a Quiz together with Christmas themed songs and sketches by “The Entertainers” directed by Norma Harratt. I am looking for teams of up to 6 people at £4 per person so come along for a fun evening.
