The volunteers on the Member Panel meet every six months to discuss the financial services market and suggest ideas for the future development of Hinckley & Rugby.
Each of the Member Panel meetings is attended by the Society’s chairman, the senior independent director, chief executive and senior managers.
The chairman Nigel Frostick and senior independent director John Day have spent a day at each of the Society’s branches at Castle Street in Hinckley and North Street in Rugby to greet dozens of customers and tell them about the Member Panel.
John Day said: “Everyone we met praised the service they receive from the Society as exceptional, saying it is streets ahead of what they get from their banks.”
Nigel Frostick said: “We have told people about the Member Panel and hope we get a good range of customers to take part. The Panel is our members’ opportunity to help us to improve our services.”
Any saver or borrower keen to have a say on the Society’s future can register their interest by contacting the Society’s marketing manager Stewart Heeley on 01455 894028.
