The children’s hospice Ranbows will benefit from every vote cast at or before Hinckley & Rugby Building Society’s AGM on March 20.
Last year the Society donated £1,250 to the East Midlands children’s hospice. This year the Society will donate 40 pence for each online vote and 20 pence for postal votes, as well as those cast in person at the Annual General Meeting.
The AGM is at 10am on March 20 at the Society’s head office on Upper Bond Street, Hinckley. Online voting is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until midnight on Sunday 17 March 2013. Postal votes must have arrived by March 17.
Chief executive Chris White said: “We always encourage members to take part in the AGM voting. By doing so they strengthen the Society’s governance and raise funds for Rainbows, whose work is highly valued by all in the region.”
The AGM will hear how Hinckley & Rugby increased its mortgage lending by more than 14 per cent in 2012 and has set an ambitious target of a further 36 per cent rise in 2013.
All members should have received their annual report and voting instructions. Any who are yet to receive them please call 0845 658 1131 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, up to 15 March 2013.
