Our Mission

Our mission is to:

• Provide a quality, free service for local community groups and services to publicise themselves
• Provide an opportunity for volunteers, students and local residents to gain access to radio training and media skills
• Provide a platform that raises awareness and reflects the opinions, views and values of the local community
• Be accessible to all
• Promote and support local community events through promotions, outside broadcasts and coverage on our radio shows
• Provide music and programming that appeals to all sectors of the community

Most importantly, Canalside Community Radio embraces and strengthens the spirit of our caring and sharing local community.

Our broadcasting area is in North East Cheshire and includes the following towns and villages:
