Council announces series of events aimed at local businesses

Three events - Start Up Your Own Business, Survive and Thrive and Business Support sessions, will take place at the Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce throughout March.

 

Representatives from Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce, Jobcentre Plus, Blue Orchid, HM Revenue and Customs and other partner organisations will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice.

 

Start Up Your Own Business Awareness Sessions

These sessions are aimed at anyone thinking of starting their own business or anyone who has recently started their own business. Enterprise Coach Fay Briscoe, who works with individuals to support their ambitions, business ideas and help overcome any barriers to success, will be at each event along with Business Advisers from Blue Orchid and the local Chamber of Commerce. 

10th March, 10am to midday, Scope House, Crewe, CW1 6DD

 

Business Support Events

Designed to give businesses an opportunity to find out more about the new Cheshire East Council and the work they are doing to provide support to the local business community. Advisers from Business Link and Jobcentre Plus will also be available at each event to talk about the support they can provide for businesses and the work they do to help businesses grow and develop.

Survive and Thrive Events

Cheshire East Council has joined forces with Business Link Northwest to bring you Survive and Thrive – a number of free local events to guide you on your business journey, through the current difficult economic climate.
