Macclesfield v London Scottish - Saturday 13th November 2010. Kick off 3pm
The Blues recorded a superb 25-24 at Blackheath last time out and have moved up to fifth in the league, travelling to Rectory Field and winning is no easy task and the team is in confident mood and will feel as though they can beat anyone.
London Scottish defeated Cambridge 37-17 in a top of the table clash, which has seen them over take Blackheath in the league. Last year they finished runners in National League One and looked for a long time as if they would challenge for promotion eventually finishing with a match record of played 30, won 22, drawn 1, and lost 7.
Macclesfield Director of Rugby Geoff Wappet should have the luxury of for the third game in a row naming an unchanged starting fifteen, as none of the long term injury absentee’s will be fit enough to be named in the squad. Though Jack Stott-Sugden may make a return after a hamstring injury.
This will certainly be one of the toughest tests of the season so for Macclesfield, though the team will believe they are more than capable of victory and after wins against Launceston and Blackheath there is no reason why this should not be the case. So please head down to Priory Park and show your support for the lads!
