Covering subjects ranging from Love and Loss to Home, Identity and Freedom, Speakeasy's unique open mic evenings delve into various themes, exploring different perspectives.
You can participate and perform anything you like, as long as it relates to the theme in some way. It can be fiction or non fiction, serious or light hearted.
So if you want to read poetry or prose, sing or simply relate an interesting anecdote, all are welcome to contribute. It doesn't have to be your own work, although this is welcomed. If you have seen or read something you found profound or interesting relating to the subject then here is the place to share it.
Entry to the events is free but each will have a donation box available for a Charity relating to the theme of the evening.
