The care I received from John and his Team for my beloved dog Dave was second to none. I travelled to Malvern from Worcester following awful experiences at a Worcester based Vet's following a chance meeting with John whilst he was caring for another animal; his approach and kindness stood out so I sought him for my own Dog's medical care. He was kind, considerate, ensured I understood every option and never once promised me something he couldn't deliver. Despite the eventual loss of my Dave, I know there was no one who could have treated either of us any better. To Euthanise an animal is a horrible horrible thing but John came to our home and was very kind throughout. I cannot recommend Masefield's more if I tried. Thank you for providing the best service I have ever received from a Veterinary practice.

It wasn't until I had an out of hours emergency for my cat that I realized you have to go into Worcester for treatment, I find this unacceptable as I have been with the practice for at least 11 years and was not informed about the change.

Thank you for your feed back. We informed all of our clients of the change in our out of hours service in July 2016 and we continue to do so. All of our clients were sent a personal letter that month, we posted details on our facebook page at the time, posted details on our website, and placed a poster on our waiting room noticeboard. The poster is still present in our waiting room and details are clearly available on our website. Beyond calling each client on our 5000+ person database we are not sure what else we could have done. Our adoption of the out of hours service was accompanied by 3 other local practices and has resulted in a much enhanced service to all our clients as we now open 7 days a week with a Sunday morning surgery at normal rates. As well as the confidence that our vets will be rested and able to perform at their best during the day, the out of hours service have a dedicated team that will provide essential care and are ready to do this at a moments notice. We are always disappointed when we receive criticism but there is little we can do in this case save to say that the proposed move of the out of hours service may require us to take this service back as it will be too far from the practice compared to the situation now.

John and his team provide Malvern with a caring and comprehensive veterinary service. The practice is open 7 days a week for regular appointments - yes even Sunday mornings! John has also arranged out-of-hours cover with a Worcester based emergency care veterinary organisation. He and has team have ensured that our cat has better medical cover than we do! Thank you.
