Well there is no denying it…Christmas is well on its way and I am getting more and more Christmassy as the count down begins. Its now day 6 on my advent calendar…yes that’s six chocolates eaten and in my opinion a little ritual that should continue well past the 24th day of December!
The beautiful Hills have been dusted in a light covering of snow, shop windows are festive and filled with delectable Christmas goodies, and there are plenty of lovely places to stop off, rest your feet and enjoy a good cup of warming coffee or bite to eat.
I guess its all in the name…Great Malvern – it is what it says…GREAT! Well in my opinion if you can buy the perfect gifts for family and friends, park close to the shops, indulge in delicious food and fresh coffee along the way and not have to drive miles it is GREAT.
There may be hills…but think about all the places you can enjoy a great cuppa on the way. Start at Bonne Bouche, make your way to the The Fig Tree Restaurant…and well once at the top you can call into the Spring Bar and Restaurant...perfect.
The Christmas lights have now been turned on, Malvern Theatres are getting ready for the annual pantomime and all around town shoppers and traders embrace the festive season. Malvern really is a GREAT place to shop!
I live at the edge of a pretty little town at the foot of the Malvern Hills, where days are long and always sunny, my house tidy, cupboards full, and the washing pile non existent...hmm maybe not.
