On Saturday I took my daughters to the Malvern library to check out more books. We also went downstairs to the internet cafe to see the local artist exibits. There are lovely hats made by Jill Peer on display in the showcases behind the computer terminals, and there's always new artwork on the walls surrounding the library cafe.
We didn't eat at the library cafe on Saturday though, instead, we went for a walk up Church Street and along Abbey Road where we stopped to eat at The Great Malvern Deli. They always have a delicious soup of the day and light enough cold foods for summer lunchtimes.
After lunch, my girls and I enjoyed a walk on the Malvern Hills. We didn't make it to the top of the Worcester Beacon though, it's quite a steep climb!
Yesterday evening I treated us to a scrummy takeaway dinner from The Thai Connection. What a lovely day of enjoying the outdoors, appreciating artwork and tasting the various restaurant choices Malvern has to offer. Just hope the weather holds out for next weekend's jaunts!
