Upron Rowing Club's launch of a fitness and indoor rowing venture "Row Fit" has secured grant aid from the Nationa Lottery. Two Indoor Rowing machines together with another machine promised by the family of a deseased member means eight machines provide year round training and fitness programmes.
The Club's Learn to Row season has started and is over subscribed. Olympic rowing success in Beijing is thought to be the reason for the increased interest in this challenging sport. If you would like to get involved call Angus McLeod on 07899 757587 or email at chairman@uptonrc.org.uk
