One of the first buildings and grounds I visited when I arrived here in Malvern from the USA, was The Malvern Priory. Its location is picturesque amidst the colourful backdrop of the Malvern hills. I was overawed with the rich history of the building itself and its grounds.
I haven't taken pictures of the priory since last summer. All those months ago the priory grounds provided a shady relief from the hot sun, beneath the leafy trees. I want to capture some winter time images of the priory while the trees on the grounds still don't have leaves, so I'll be taking a walk up there with my camera later today.
Until I upload my own photos, full image credit of the picture to the right goes to www.historic-uk.com and the photo below of the priory grounds is from www.roundabout-malvern.co.uk
