As the leading first aid charity, St John Ambulance relies on the work of dedicated volunteers to provide first aid treatment and training throughout the country.
With more than 45,000 volunteers, over half of which are under 25, St John Ambulance is able to treat 550 casualties per day, or 200,000 per year. All without government funding.
