At the best of Manchester buying local is one of our key messages. We have some fabulous independent businesses on our local high streets, and we want to encourage the community to buy local rather than frequenting the large multiples.
Without a doubt service, product knowledge and quality is far superior in an independent businesses where the owner has a passion for what they sell or produce.
We want to ensure that our local businesses continue to grow and multiply. We don’t want them to disappear – indeed the high street would be a very bland place if they did.
