Wow, now that was a fantastic Christmas! Between all the eating, drinking and opening presents, I am absolutely knackered and ready for a lovely snooze on the couch - I mean, I need to get my strength up for the New Year! Before you know it, we will be in 2015 and this year will be nothing but a cherished memory.
But let's not talk about what we are going to lose and miss, let's look forward to the year ahead of us and all the great things going on around Manchester! January is always a great place to start, being the first month of the year n'all, and the return of January brings about one of the best annual events around - Manchester Beer & Cider Festival!
Yes, that's right, the famed and extremely popular Beer & Cider Festival is returning to the Velodrome with over 500 different beers and ciders on offer for you to taste and enjoy! You can sample some of the absolute best of british beer or you can dip your toe into the sea of european cider - the choice is all yours! And seen as last year's festival ran out of beer, there has been 40% more pints ordered for this year - that is over 60,000 pints.
