The Beauty of Being Herd
  • Cockatoo Club, 20 Richmond street
    M1 3NB
A one woman show with original songs, clowning and tender moments too.

Have you ever felt like an outsider?

For as long Hannah can remember, she’s felt like she doesn’t belong. After years of trying to fit in, she waves goodbye to life as she knows it to live instead as a sheep.

The Beauty of Being Herd is a funny, tender, playful tale with original songs, clowning and possibly a rave.

‘Hugely entertaining’ British Theatre Guide

‘Bizarre, bonkers and beautiful! 5*****’ Fairypowered Productions

‘Undoubtedly joyous and uplifting.’ The Bradfordian

Ruth Berkoff trained in contemporary circus at Circomedia, Bristol and in theatre and clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, France. As an ex-Samaritan, Ruth cares strongly about people feeling understood. As a four-time pantomime dame, she cares immensely about people having the times of their lives at the theatre.
