We nearly didn't go in as we thought the small ground floor counter was just a takeaway. The restaurant is upstairs, very tastefully decorated and furnished with a spacious, friendly atmosphere and non-intrusive background music. Very civilised clientele too. Service was excellent and friendly. Our meals were excellent, most certainly a cut above the average. We'll go back.

Amazing food. Very friendly staff. Can accommodate parties small and large. Ok for children. Only down side is the steep stairs as the main restaurant is above the take away shop. Lovely decor. Highly recommend.

I had a meal here with my husband at the end of a weekend away. It was recommended to us by some people in our hotel who had dined there the previous evening. It was a very quiet Sunday evening and soon we were the only diners remaining. What a shame that was as the food was excellent. A very comprehensive menu to choose from. I was impressed when we were asked whether we had any food allergies. Those are the attentions to detail that make a difference. The food was delicious and the quantities large. The service could not be faulted, being discreet and non-intrusive. We would certainly return if ever we were in Market Harborough.

We took our elderly mother to Han's to celebrate her birthday and whilst it took some time to get her up the stairs to the restaurant we had a great time.
The staff were very friendly and professional and the food was really good we had one of there banquets which is a good way of tasting lots of different flavours. This is and always has been a very good Chinese restaurant.
Not the cheapest but good value !!

This is bar far the best Chinese restaurant in town. The food is fantastic, varied menu, great atmosphere The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Also a great for a takeaway. It's nice that the restaurant is on the upper floor, so you can enjoy your meal and not be watched by people who are waiting for a takeaway downstairs in the cosy seated waiting area.

Really excellent food - much more meat in the dishes than you would expect and very tasty. My only complaint was I had to leave some food as I was REALLY full! Excellent value - prices only slightly higher than other Chinese restaurants around.

Han's is such a good restaurant. It is like stepping back to a different time, it reminds me a bit of the Good Life and I could imagine Margot swanning in a caftan. I appreciate the fact that they have good table linen and napkins and really nice glassware. I hadn't been for a long time and the food is as good as I remembered. Lovely fresh fish, authentic flavours and an excellent wine list. The service is attentive and slick all in all I should go here more often. it is rare to find a truly excellent Chinese Restaurant and this is certainly one on the food alone.

We last ate here some 15 years ago and was pleased to see that it had not changed.
We all chose a set menu for 4 people, the volume of food was plenty and delicious.I would go so far to say this is the best Chinese restaurant in the area.

The food was excellent one of the best Chinese/Cantonese restaurants I have been too. The service was non invasive, polite and attentive.
The atmosphere was busy, cosy and it is a super clean place to eat the toilets too were of good quality.
Not overly expensive for what the size of portion you get and it was good quality ingredients and very fresh also served very well and looked appealing.

Great food , a little bit pricey though!
The evening we visited the restaurant it was very busy, a good sign we thought. The menu is varied, and the portions are very large, maybe one portion could be enough for two people. The prices are on the high side , because it just lacks that little something. .. The service just does not match the prices that the restaurant charge, we felt very rushed and there isn't that sort of " something special " about the place. Shame because the food is very good, but the staff serving in the restaurant haven't got that, " let's make your evening a special occasion " touch about them.

We went here the night after our friends who spoke highly of their visit.
The four of us had the banquet and we were not disappointed. The starter platter was tasty and I had the best Spring rolls ever. They were crispy and delicious but not greasy.
All 4 of us enjoyed the main courses and we struggled to finish.Good service and very satisfied.

We haven't been out for a Chinese meal or had a takeaway in a long time so thought we would treat ourselves to a local recommended restaurant .
First impressions at reception was that it was very cold, there were seats for waiting but glad we didn't have to as that would not have been pleasant. Instead we were taken upstairs to our table, squeezed into a corner next to the window. Not a nice position and no curtains or anything to stop the cold coming from the window. It wasn't draughty and my right arm was cold all night.Anyway, we were asked about a drink my wife ordered a glass of Sauvignon , it took two further trips by the waitress to eventually advise that they only do house wine by the glass. Bad start so she had a soft drink.
We ordered crispy duck and some prawn dumplings, they came very quickly. The duck was very nice but the prawns were not to our liking. For mains we had sea bass in ginger and spring onions, sizzling beef and pak Choi veg. It was okay, the fish was quite tasty and the beef tender. The veg could have been crispier. The service also was okay but nothing special, the atmosphere was lacking and it didn't live up to what we expected. First impressions of being cold set the scene for the night and we were in and out in under 1 1/2 hours .....feeling a little rushed and lacking a buzz.

Went for dinner here a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was lively and the service could not be faulted. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was quickly served despite being very busy. The food was delicious if a tad a bit expensive compared to other places in the area. I would definitely recommend visiting this gem though.

Lovely meal, served by very friendly staff. Free prawn crackers on arrival (always a bonus!), followed by gorgeous duck. Main was more than enough for two. Good value.

Had a booking here on Friday 11th December for a table for two but had to change it a couple of days before to a table for three. This was no issue, although I couldn't get through initially, they rang me back soon afterwards and were really accommodating. Once again we opted for one of the banquet dishes, and again altering some of the dishes was not a problem. Staff were as pleasant as always and the whole evening was value for money in my opinion. I was surprised to be the last table leaving not long after 22:00 on a Friday night but otherwise the whole experience was as enjoyable as ever.

We were advised to visit this restaurant by locals, and were impressed both by the food, restaurant decor and especially the above and beyond service from the manager - when he was unable to raise a taxi to take us back to the marina, he asked us to wait 10 minutes, then returned with his own car to take us! No complaints at all.

a well appointed chinese restaurant with a comprehensive menu that caters for all tastes. the staff are attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous . The food is always well prepared, fresh and plentiful. we always go for one of the buffet menus (there are a number to choose from suitable for parties from 2 to 8 in number) which provide a great variety and are excellent value for money.

Took a friend for a special birthday treat, we actually go a few times a year and always have the Han Banquet... Due to a food allergy, we have to modify this slightly but that is never a problem. Service is always fast and pleasant and the food has always been excellent... I've eaten similar banquet packages at other places and none are done as well as here. The dining area is beautifully furnished with a carpet that your feet really sink into... All very tasteful and perfect for intimate tables for two or lively parties of a dozen or more. Whatever type of evening you're looking for The Han will not disappoint.

A really good lunch with generous portions, friendly service and reasonable prices [under £10 for 2 courses].
Also they are willing to substute meat for tofu making it a really good choice for veggies. Judging by the competition available for lunches in Market Harborough, I am surprised that they are not rushed off their feet!, but rather steep stairs might put off the less abled.

Visited for wedding anniversary dinner 16th September. Not been to this restaurant before. We chose the Han buffet for 2 people. Mixed starter, crispy duck, 3 main courses and a pudding. Just over £23 each. The food was wonderful and the service prompt and efficient. The restaurant is very well furnished ànd well laid out. Will definitely be eating here again.
