As I'm sure you know, the competition to find the region's 'Business of the Year' - the most popular independent business in Market Harborough and the surrounding villages as voted by your positive reviews and votes - has been running for the last 12 months but escalated dramatically over the last few weeks.
Well the national and local results for all business categories were finally announced on Monday February 1st and can be seen at: https://www.thebestof.co.uk/businessoftheyear
I'm proud to congratulate our local overall winner, Jane Clifford and her superb team at 'Wistow Cafe Bistro' in the heart of Wistow Rural Centre who ran out convincing winners with 146 verified reviews.
Not only did they win our local competition, but they came 1st in the National Category For Catering sevices - a brilliant achievement.
Our local runners up were Harborough Blinds and Pro-Vale Pet Services - both companies attracting considerable support and recognition for their high standards and dedicated customer service.
I'll be adding more information to this post during the week as more facts are revealed about the campaign, but in the meantime, I'd like to congratulate not only our winners, but all businesses who took part, and to thank you, the public for supporting our on going campaign to promote trading with local independent businesses.
