The Benchmarking Project is being carried out by Harborough Improvement Team (HIT) with the support of Market Harborough Chamber of Trade, and Action for Market Towns.
The aim of the project is to gather a range of information about the town, such as the different types of retailers, footfall through the town, car parking use, business confidence, and town centre user views.
It is quick and simple to fill in and asks businesses to provide their ratings and views on various aspects of doing business in Market Harborough town centre.
The project is taking place in a number of market towns across the country.
Chris Sewart, from HIT, said: “The overall aim of the benchmarking project is to measure town centre performance year on year but will also provide evidence to support funding applications for business support projects in the town centre.”
